A Global infrastructure firm EIFFEL Nigeria Limited has expressed strong interest in transforming the transportation landscape of Nasarawa State, Northern, Nigeria.
The firm cited the state’s secure environment and the administrative excellence of the Nasarawa State Investment Development Agency (NASIDA) as reasons for the interest.
Speaking in an interview, with Voice of Nigeria, at the Nasarawa Investment Summit 2026, the Business Development & Commercial Manager for EIFFEL Nigeria Limited, Tony Makoko, revealed that the firm, alongside its technical partners, Matière SAS of France, is ready to deploy specialized engineering technologies to accelerate the state’s infrastructure development.

Makoko gave a comprehensive proposal aimed at eradicating transportation congestion across the state’s urban and rural areas.
The proposed Unique Bridge Solution includes, Specialized Flyovers and Bridges, River Crossings for enhancing inter-community movement to unlock economic potential in rural suburban regions.
EPC+F Model
EIFFEL Nigeria is offering Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services integrated with flexible financing options to reduce the fiscal burden on the state government.
“We are bringing these solutions together with financing models that will help the state accelerate its infrastructure processes. Our goal is to improve blighted areas and enhance the movement of goods and services”, Makoko stated.
The manager praised NASIDA and its Managing Director, Barrister Ibrahim Abdullahi, describing the agency as the best thing to have happened to the state.
Makoko specifically highlighted the agency’s decentralized and inclusive workforce, noting the diverse ethnocentric representation within the team.
“In a country as sensitive as Nigeria, seeing personnel from the South-West, South-South, and other regions represented in this team shows that competence is given the highest credence. Nigeria is well-represented in this workforce.”
He attributed the summit’s success which has drawn investors from Asia and across the globe to the young, energetic, and result-oriented team driving the vision of economic transformation.
Makoko further commended the executive Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, noting that the visible progress speaks for itself.
“Driving from Abuja, one perceives a sense of serenity and security. The huge infrastructure development currently ongoing and the calm nature of the people speak volumes about the Governor’s leadership style,” he said.
He recommended the Nasarawa model specifically the Governor’s ability to identify and empower top-tier talent as a case study for other Nigerian states and sub-national entities looking to achieve progressive governance and global investment imprints.
“With various undertakings and MoUs being signed during the summit, EIFFEL Nigeria’s commitment signals a major boost for the state’s goal of becoming a premier investment destination in North-Central Nigeria”, Makoko added.
