Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe, says the Uba Sani administration is committed to expanding access to quality education and equipping young people with relevant knowledge and skills.
Balarabe said this on Tuesday at a community engagement organised by the Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority.
She said education was a shared responsibility involving government, teachers, parents, communities and other stakeholders.
According to her, the administration is strengthening quality assurance across the state’s 23 Local Government Areas, with motorcycles and operational support provided to field officers to improve school monitoring, especially in hard-to-reach communities.

She also cited the introduction of hybrid Computer-Based Testing for the Basic Education Certificate Examination, QR-coded certificates and stronger examination monitoring as measures to protect the integrity of the education system.
Balarabe said the administration had, since 2023, supported more than 800,000 students in Junior and Senior Secondary School examinations.
The Director General of the Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority, Prof. Abubakar Usman Zaria, said the authority had shifted from traditional inspection to data-driven monitoring and continuous improvement.
He said more than 20 quality assurance tools had been digitised through the EduMonitor App, while QR-coded certificates and licences were introduced to strengthen verification and curb forgery.
Zaria added that 50 motorcycles had been provided to field officers across the 23 Local Government Areas to improve physical monitoring and access to remote communities.
