Kano Governor Urges Unity, Reflection At Eid al-Maulud

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated Muslims across Kano State and Nigeria on the occasion of Maulud, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

In a goodwill message contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature, the governor urged Muslims to reflect on the life, teachings and exemplary character of the Prophet.

Yusuf said the occasion offered an opportunity for the faithful to embrace the virtues of peace, justice, compassion, honesty, patience and tolerance exemplified by Prophet Muhammad.

He called on Muslims to demonstrate these values in their daily lives while promoting peaceful coexistence, unity and mutual respect among people of diverse backgrounds.

The Governor also urged parents, religious leaders and community elders to intensify efforts to educate younger generations on the teachings, values and exemplary conduct of the Prophet.

Yusuf prayed for continued peace, stability and prosperity in Kano State and Nigeria and urged citizens to support initiatives aimed at improving the wellbeing and living conditions of the people.

He also prayed for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, wishing them success in their administration and continued service to the nation.

The Governor wished Muslims a peaceful and spiritually rewarding Maulud celebration and urged them to continue praying for peace, progress, unity and prosperity across the country.
