The Nasarawa State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to completing all ongoing infrastructure and development projects ahead of the May 29, 2027 leadership transition.
The State Commissioner for Information, Culture, and Tourism, Dr. Nawani Aboki, gave the assurance during his maiden press briefing with journalists in Lafia, the state capital.
Dr. Aboki, outlined the ministry’s strategy to document the achievements of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration while creating an open-door policy for press engagements.
“Government is a continuum, the completion of ongoing projects and the commencement of new initiatives are part of our commitment to ensuring that the development of Nasarawa State does not suffer any interruption,” Dr. Aboki stated.
He said the Ministry is preparing a comprehensive documentation of the Sule administration’s foundational projects across key sectors, aimed at preserving accurate historical records for future generations.

Dr. Aboki further roll out the ministry’s six-month priority program and communication blueprint in the coming days to enhance public enlightenment and citizen engagement.
He reiterated the ministry’s plans to actively project Nasarawa’s cultural heritage and boost local tourism potential.
Dr. Aboki noted that the state is preparing to enter a pivotal developmental phase marked by the emergence of a new generation of leadership built upon the current administration’s foundations.
He called on journalists to maintain high standards of professionalism and responsible reporting, urging the media to help project the state’s achievements accurately to both local and international audiences.
