An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Nasarawa State, Isiyaku Abdullahi, says the North-Central region is ready to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
Abdullahi, a former Executive Vice President (Downstream) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), stated this during an interview with journalists in Lafia, noting that the administration’s economic reforms were gradually revitalising the economy despite the challenges associated with their implementation.
He urged Nigerians to support the continuation of the government’s policies, describing the reforms as difficult but necessary for the country’s economic recovery.

Abdullahi said the large turnout at the North-Central mega rally in support of the Tinubu/Shettima re-election bid demonstrated the region’s determination to return the APC to power in 2027.
The oil and gas industrialist also expressed confidence that voters in Nasarawa State would support the APC in the forthcoming elections, citing Governor Abdullahi Sule’s commitment to public welfare and the development of the state.
Abdullahi pledged to mobilise support for Sule’s senatorial ambition in Nasarawa North, saying the governor’s achievements in infrastructure renewal, education, healthcare and investment promotion would strengthen his prospects at the polls.
He described Sule as a visionary leader whose administration had improved urban development and expanded economic opportunities, attracting domestic and foreign investments to the state.
The APC chieftain also called on party members and residents to support the senatorial ambition of Senator Ahmed Wadada, expressing confidence in his capacity to sustain the state’s development agenda.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the APC, pledging to promote unity, reconciliation and the party’s electoral success at all levels ahead of the 2027 general elections.
