President Bola Tinubu has commended Zamfara State Governor, Dr Dauda Lawal, for his infrastructure and urban renewal drive, as well as efforts to advance industrialisation in the state.
President Tinubu gave the commendation while congratulating Governor Lawal on his 61st birthday, describing him as a “Renaissance governor” who has brought positive change to Zamfara State.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, the President noted that the governor’s development efforts extend beyond physical infrastructure to critical investments in education and healthcare.
He particularly highlighted the rehabilitation of more than 800 schools, recruitment of over 2,000 teachers, upgrading of hospitals and provision of medical supplies across the state.
President Tinubu described Governor Lawal’s multi-sectoral approach to governance as a significant step towards achieving holistic development, particularly in strengthening human capital.
The President joined the governor’s family, friends and the people of Zamfara in celebrating him, wishing Governor Lawal, good health and renewed strength as he continues to serve the state and the nation.
