President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, on his 60th birthday, commending him for his media excellence and his role as a patriotic partner in nation-building.
Felicitating the Minister, the President, in a personally written birthday message, described Idris as an excellent communicator, public relations executive, and media leader who has brought finesse, credibility, and gravitas to public communication in his administration.
President Tinubu also commended the Minister, Idris Malagi, for his steadfastness in disseminating the message of Renewed Hope across the nation and urged him to sustain the momentum.
“I heartily congratulate Mohammed Idris Malagi, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, on his 60th birthday on May 2, 2026.
“His role as general secretary of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN) before his appointment distinguished him as a patriot and valued partner in nation-building.
“His reputation precedes him. He has been at the forefront of the media and public relations industry as the founder and publisher of Blueprint Newspapers and as the chairman of a successful public relations consultancy and broadcast media outfit.
The Nigerian leader further commended the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Malagi, for his diligence and doggedness in communicating the achievements, policies, and programmes of the administration.
President Tinubu also joined family and friends in wishing the Minister many more years of good health and strength as he continues to serve the nation.
