The report concerned the activities of an alleged agency known as the National Brands Development and Made in Nigeria Special Project Office, reportedly promoted by George Buchi Nwabueze, with suspected involvement of public servants in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Following due diligence, President Tinubu lifted Danjuma’s suspension and directed him to return to his official responsibilities in line with the Public Service Rules, applicable regulations and ethical standards governing the Federal Civil Service.
The reinstatement takes effect from October 21, 2026.
