The Global President of Tabital Pulaaku International and Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has called on Fulbe communities across Africa and beyond to strengthen unity, solidarity and economic cooperation to improve livelihoods and educational opportunities.
Sanusi made the call at the Tabital Pulaaku International General Meeting held in Kano, North West Nigeria, under the theme, “Towards Securing the Economy, Livelihoods and Education for the Fulbe Communities.”
The Emir said the organisation’s priority should remain the promotion of unity, love and brotherhood, urging members to build on the relationships and partnerships established during the meeting.

“What we preach is unity and not division, love and not anger, and brotherhood and sisterhood for all of us,” Sanusi said.
He pledged to work within the confines of the law to advance the interests of Tabital Pulaaku and the Fulbe community, stressing that the organisation’s leadership would develop clear strategies capable of creating a global impact.
Sanusi also encouraged Fulbe entrepreneurs and investors to explore opportunities across Africa and other parts of the world, saying economic cooperation was essential to strengthening communities.
He called for continued dialogue and restraint in resolving disagreements, noting that internal differences should not be allowed to undermine the unity of the wider community.
Representing Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Deputy Governor, Murtala Sule Garo, said the state government recognised the importance of the gathering and its focus on economic empowerment, education, livelihoods and peaceful coexistence.
Yusuf, through his deputy, said greater investment was needed in livestock development, agriculture, access to finance, markets, water, animal health services and skills development, particularly for women and young people.
He also called for increased access to quality education for children in rural and pastoral communities, including religious, vocational and digital learning.
The governor emphasised the need for peaceful dialogue between farmers and herders, saying sustainable development could not be achieved without peace and mutual understanding.
The International Grand Patron of Tabital Pulaaku, the Lamido of Adamawa, Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu, represented by the National Grand Patron, Emir of Jajere, Alhaji Mai Hamza Buba Ibn Isa, also called for sustained unity and solidarity among members for the advancement of the organisation.
Tabital Pulaaku International is a global socio-cultural and apolitical organisation established in 2002 to promote Fula heritage, unity, socio-economic development and peaceful coexistence.
The organisation has a network spanning more than 20 countries across Africa, Europe and the Americas.
