The newly appointed Deputy National Coordinator (North Central) of Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A), a campaign support group for President Tinubu, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has hosted an inaugural strategic alignment session with state coordinators and key regional stakeholders across the North Central geopolitical zone.
The summit, held in Abuja following his formal appointment ratified by the National Secretariat, officially initiated the operational phase of the A4A mandate throughout the region.
Addressing the coordinators representing Kogi, Benue, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Bello charged the leadership to hit the ground running with a focus on grassroots integration and broad-based political alignment for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Bello emphasised that Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A) is a noble idea whose time has come stressing that the group stands as a vital vehicle for regional unity, political stability, and accelerated development under the current administration.
To ensure the success of this mission, the former governor promised to use his goodwill and long-standing relationship with the Executive Governors across the North Central states to create a seamless synergy between state governments and the A4A structure.

According to him, his high-level alignment will ensure that grassroots activities are fully synchronised with the political leadership of each state, guaranteeing institutional support and unified campaign directions.
He praised the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for his visionary leadership, steadfast commitment to party discipline, and continuous efforts to keep the progressive family united.
He lauded Governor AbdulRazaq’s exceptional leadership in fostering unity among the state executives and driving regional collaboration and also commended the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for his tireless dedication to national security, stabilising the polity, and ensuring a safe environment necessary for democratic processes and grassroots mobilisation to thrive.
Bello directed all state chapters to focus on bottom-up voter engagement across every ward, polling unit, and community in the North Central zone.
He directed all state operators to align directly with guidelines issued from the central Northern Projects Coordination Office (NPCO) in Abuja and also reiterated that the North Central zone must remain an impenetrable fortress of support for the Renewed Hope Agenda, charging coordinators to engage traditional, community, and youth leaders to sustain long-term political goodwill.
Speaking on behalf of North Central Coordinators, the FCT A4A coordinator, Alhaji Shittu Mohammed reaffirmed the region’s complete confidence in the dynamic leadership of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, commending his track record of mobilisation and loyalty to party progress.
