Zamfara State: Humanitarian Minister condemns abduction of female students

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, has condemned the abduction of hundreds of female students in Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

The Minister who expressed concern over the frequent abduction of innocent school children in the country described the act as regrettable, inhuman and traumatic and should be condemned at all levels.

“I stand in solidarity with the parents and guardians of the children and pray for their safety and immediate release,” the Minister stated.

She also assured the parents of the Federal Government’s determination to secure the safe release of their children.

It would be recalled that a few weeks ago, terrorists abducted students of Government Science College, kagara, in Niger State.
