India reports 50,848 new COVID-19 cases

India has reported 50,848 new COVID-19 infections over the past 24 hours, health ministry data showed on Wednesday.

The South Asian nation’s total infections now stand at 30.03 million. The country’s deaths also reached 3,90,660 with 1,358 new deaths reported in a day.
