Russia’s defence ministry said on Thursday that its forces targeted several Ukrainian missile plants, weapons design bureaus, and rocket fuel production sites with missiles and drones in July.

The ministry claimed its forces also destroyed Western-supplied air defence systems, including Patriot launchers and fire control radar, in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions, which it said had been deployed to protect the facilities.

According to the statement, the strikes disrupted what Moscow described as a joint effort by Kyiv and its Western allies to produce missiles capable of striking deep inside Russian territory.
