Uka said his ministry has made a success story on the area of curbing crime in the State not because any other thing but because the ministry has been working in synergy with other conventional security agencies in the State.

In other to ensure crime free in the State, we work in collaboration with conventional security agencies like Nigeria Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, National Drug Law enforcement Agency among others, for instance, if we catch anyone who vandalizes facilities, we hand them over to Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, if it is drug abuse issues, we hand the offender over to Drug Agencies and if it is something that has to do with criminal offenses, we hand it over to police to handle and so on,” he explained.

He commended workers in the ministry who have been doing wonders in ensuring that the State was free of crime.

Few days ago, someone bought AK-47 rifles and 5 life bullets which he has managed to get to Ebonyi State but getting to the state men of internal security nabbed him and recovered that armouries and handed it over to police.”
