The Nigeria Immigration Service says the future of global travels will be premised on health certificates especially the evidence of COVID-19 vaccination.
Comptroller General, CG, Nigeria Immigration Service, Mohammed Babandede, said this in Abuja at the National Joint Media briefing by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 in Nigeria.
The CG noted that the issue of the travel ban on international passengers who defaulted the COVID-19 guidelines in Nigeria was in compliance with the Presidential Order.

” I will like to assure you in the future that you may not be able to cross borders until probably if you have a vaccination or COVID-19 test” he announced.
According to him, non-compliance with COVID-19 guidelines is a threat to public health and no defaulter will be spared in Nigeria.
