The All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded its primary elections for the eight House of Representatives seats in Adamawa State, producing candidates to fly the party’s flag in the forthcoming general elections.
Announcing the results in Yola on Sunday, Chairman of the Primary Election Committee, Professor Ahmed Yushau, described the exercise as peaceful, transparent and credible across the 21 Local Government Areas of the state.
Proelfessor Yushau stated that the committee conducted the exercise in line with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Electoral Act, as well as the constitution and guidelines of the APC.
According to him, those who emerged victorious include Nyampa Zakaria for Michika Federal Constituency, James Barka for Gombi/Hong, and Kwamoti Laori for Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency.

Others are Golfa Mallam for Guyuk/Shelleng, Suleman Gankuba for Jada/Ganye/Mayo Belwa/Toungo, and Aliyu Boya for Fufore/Song Federal Constituency.
Also declared winners were Ahmad Salihijo for Yola North/Yola South/Gire Federal Constituency and Ramatu Bello for Mubi North/Mubi South/Maiha Federal Constituency.
The Committee Chairman commended party members and supporters for maintaining order throughout the exercise and urged all aspirants to continue to uphold peace and unity in the interest of the party ahead of the general elections.
