The Director-General of the National Boundary Commission, NBC, Adamu Adaji, has congratulated Muslims and Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Eid al-Adha celebration, urging citizens to embrace the virtues of peace, sacrifice, and unity for the continued progress and stability of the country.
Speaking in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, Adaji noted that the Eid al-Adha celebration coincides with the ongoing political primaries across the country, and urged political actors, party supporters, and Nigerians to uphold peace, respect democratic principles, and promote national unity throughout the exercise.

He also encouraged Nigerians to extend charity and kindness to the less privileged in the spirit of the season, while emphasising the importance of boundaries as essential tools for effective administration, peaceful coexistence, national security, and sustainable development.
He wished Nigerians a peaceful and memorable Eid al-Adha celebration and prayed for continued peace, unity, and prosperity for the nation.
