The Director-General of the Voice of Nigeria (VON), Mallam Jibrin Baba Ndace, has urged graduating students of Beautiful Beginning Cambridge International Academy, Apo, Abuja, to remain focused, resilient and committed to excellence as they prepare for the next phase of their academic and personal journeys.
The charge was delivered on behalf of the Director-General by the Deputy Director, Digital Media, Dr Qasim Akinreti, at the school’s 2026 Graduation Ceremony held at the Conference Hall, Block A, Nile University, Abuja.
Addressing the graduands, Dr Akinreti encouraged them to dream big, embrace hard work and maintain confidence in their abilities, noting that determination and perseverance are essential qualities for success in an increasingly competitive world.
He urged the students not to be discouraged by challenges, stressing that every obstacle presents an opportunity for growth and achievement.

The VON representative also commended parents for their unwavering commitment and sacrifices towards providing quality education for their children, describing parental support as a vital foundation for academic and future success.
He emphasised that faith, discipline, ambition and hard work remain the pillars upon which lasting achievements are built.
Teachers Shape the Nation’s Future
Speaking to the teachers, Dr Akinreti said the impact of educators extends far beyond the classroom, as they play a critical role in shaping future leaders and responsible citizens.
He challenged the age-old saying that “the reward of a teacher is in heaven”, noting that teachers witness the fruits of their labour through the achievements and successes of their students.
“The confidence, discipline and excellence displayed by these graduands today are clear testimonies to your dedication and professionalism,” he said.
In her address, the managing director of Beautiful Beginning Cambridge International Academy, Dr Rosemary Nasa-Okolie, expressed satisfaction with the outstanding performance of the graduating class.

She described the Class of 2026 as confident, innovative and purpose-driven young people who have distinguished themselves academically and morally.
Dr Nasa-Okolie reaffirmed the school’s commitment to providing world-class education and nurturing globally competitive students equipped with the knowledge, character and leadership skills required to excel in society.
She also appreciated parents and guardians for their continued partnership with the school and urged the graduands to uphold the values of integrity, excellence and service as worthy ambassadors of the institution.

The colourful graduation ceremony attracted parents, guardians, education stakeholders and invited guests from within and outside the Federal Capital Territory.
Highlights of the event included cultural performances, choreography, a moot court presentation, spoken-word poetry, musical renditions and the presentation of awards to outstanding students and distinguished supporters of the school.
The ceremony concluded with a renewed call on the graduands to embrace lifelong learning, innovation and responsible leadership as they contribute meaningfully to national development.
