Men’s 110m Hurdles Heats (7:55am)

Nigerian athlete Prosper Ekporore will be competing in the Men’s 110m Hurdles Heats at the Kasarani Stadium for a chance to progress to the next round of the event.

Women’s Long Jump Qualification (8:45am)

Ruth Agadama

Ruth Agadama goes into the women’s Long Jump with a lifetime best of 6.46m, a mark she leapt to win GOLD at the 20th National Sports Festival. Ranked 9th going into the Championships, she would be hoping to make her mark on her debut for Nigeria.

Women’s 200m Heat (9am)

Favour Ofili

Anita Taviore and Favour Ofili will be competing in the Women’s 200m Heat at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya for a chance to progress to the next round of the event.

Men’s Javelin Throw Final (12:20pm)

Nnamdi Chinecherem

Nigerian athlete Nnamdi Chinecherem qualified as the best thrower from the heats with a new National U20 Record of 78.02m and will be competing in the Men’s Javelin Throw final for a chance to win Gold in the event.
