President Tinubu noted that the late monarch occupied a position of honour and responsibility in his community and represented the cherished values of Nigeria’s indigenous institutions.

He said traditional institutions continue to play an important role in preserving cultural heritage, promoting communal harmony and fostering peace and understanding among the people.

“His departure is a painful loss to his immediate family, the Ndufu Alike Autonomous Community, the people of Ikwo, and the entire Ebonyi State. His memory will remain a source of reflection and inspiration to those who knew him and to the generations that will carry forward the traditions and values he represented,” President Tinubu stated.

Acknowledging the deeply personal pain associated with the loss of a father, President Tinubu prayed that the family would draw comfort from memories of their beloved patriarch, the values he imparted and the enduring legacy of his life.

President Tinubu also urged the traditional institution and the people of Ndufu Alike Autonomous Community to honour the memory of the late monarch by sustaining the virtues he represented.

Reflecting on the life and passing of the distinguished traditional ruler, President Tinubu said his death was a reminder of the transient nature of life and the enduring value of service to family and community.
