Former Senate President tasks PDP supporters on peaceful conduct

Former Senate President, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, has called on supporters of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to be peaceful in all their activities across Nigeria.

Mr Anyim stated this during the PDP State Executive Council Meeting held in Salt Lake Hotels Abakaliki the State Capital.

The former Senate President said with peace, Nigeria would get to its peak in positive achievements.

“If we should be peaceful in all our activities as Members of People’s Democratic Party PDP, people would like us and as well vote for us during the election because of our comportment,” Anyim said.

He further urged the youths not to allow themselves to be used as instruments of destruction in society.

The National Vice chairman of PDP, Southeast Zone, Chief Ali Odefa said nobody will rig election in Ebonyi.

The Senators representing Ebonyi North, Senator Sam Egwu, Ebonyi South Zone, Senator Ama Nnachi and of Ebonyi Central Zone, Chief Obinna Ogba said Ebonyi will smile again if candidates of PDP are voted into power.

Members representing Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency, Mr Anayo Nwonu, Mr Idu Igariwe of Affikpo North and South Federal Constituency, Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency, Mr Chukwuma Nwazunku, Ohazara/Ivo Federal Constituency, Mr Livinus Makwee and Izzi/Abakaliki Federal Constituency, Mr Sylvester Ogbaga said PDP has done a lot in impacting positively on people’s lives in the state and Nigeria at large.

The former Senator who represented Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone, Senator Nguji Ngele said he must work hard to ensure that PDP comes stronger in the State

The Chief Executive Officer of Egobekee foundation for better living, Chief Nwakaego Rosemary, urged PDP not to forget the enormous role of women in society.

Egobekee, therefore, urged PDP to always include women in all their leadership positions.

The Youth Leader of the Party, Mr Chidiebere Egwu said youths would be revived again in Ebonyi if PDP takes Over Ebonyi and Nigeria in the next election.
