The Anambra State Government has launched a redesigned official website to improve access to public services, government information, investment opportunities and citizen engagement.
The platform, available at anambrastate.gov.ng, brings government services and digital tools together in a single online gateway for residents, businesses, investors, visitors and development partners.
The development was disclosed in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Anambra State Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA), Angela Nwanodu.

Unlike a conventional government news portal, the redesigned website is structured around services and information users need, including access to government services, identification services, business registration and channels for reporting issues.
The platform also connects users to digital government tools, including SmartGov services and NORA, the state’s digital assistant, as well as channels for citizen feedback, grievance redress and Freedom of Information requests.

A key feature is the Open Government section, which provides access to budgets, citizens’ budgets, budget implementation reports, audit reports, procurement plans, contract awards, open data, government documents and FOI requests.

The website also provides information on investment opportunities and the state’s business environment, covering public-private partnerships, manufacturing, technology, real estate, agriculture and tourism.
The users can also access information on government offices, Anambra’s people, culture and heritage, while links to government systems are designed to provide a more connected digital experience across Ministries, Departments and Agencies.

The government said the platform forms part of its broader digital transformation agenda, with plans to expand and update it as more public services, information and digital tools are integrated into the state’s digital ecosystem.
The development is expected to strengthen digital access to government services while providing citizens and other stakeholders with easier channels to obtain public information, engage government and explore economic opportunities.
