The Founder of Atunlo Sustech and CarbonScope360, Ayo Ogunlowo, has announced a ₦100 million fund to support impact-driven businesses and youth-led innovations solving social, economic, and environmental challenges in Nigeria.

He stated this at the launch of the Climate Beyond Borders Caravan in Abuja on Monday.

According to him, the fund, financed directly by Atunlo Sustech, reflects his commitment to supporting innovative businesses that are developing practical solutions to environmental, social and economic challenges.

These interventions also build on Ogunlowo’s growing international engagement on climate innovation, technology, youth participation, and responsible development.

He recently spoke at Web Summit Qatar, where he participated in conversations on climate tech moving from theory into practical systems; at the YPS Global Consultation in New York, where discussions focused on youth, peace, security, and global participation; and at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School’s UNLEASH 2026, where he led a Design Sprint on responsible AI infrastructure and its real-world impact on communities.

According to him, these platforms have strengthened his conviction that the work of Atunlo Sustech and the Atunlo Foundation must remain locally grounded, globally relevant, and focused on turning advocacy into measurable social and economic outcomes.

Stronger Collaboration

The Atunlo Sustec founder called for stronger collaboration between the private sector and government to ensure climate-related interventions become sustainable and policy-driven rather than short-term projects.

Ogunlowo expressed optimism that increased investment in grassroots innovation would help mobilise more young Nigerians toward climate action while improving livelihoods and strengthening environmental sustainability.
