Nigeria has confirmed 650 cases of the deadly coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC confirmed the cases on Saturday night via its official website.
The NCDC also noted that 53 COVID related deaths were recorded in the country
NCDC noted that the 650 new cases are reported from 17 States- “Lagos (261), Ondo (95), Rivers (80), Akwa Ibom (59), Oyo (24), Ekiti (22), Delta (20), Edo (18), Enugu (15), Bayelsa (14), Ogun (11), Kaduna (8), Plateau (7), Kano (6), FCT (5), Gombe (3), and Abia (2)“
These latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases to 190,983 with 178,047 discharged and 2,361 deaths.
