Dangote Group Hosts Tanzanian Delegation for Investment Talks

A Tanzanian delegation of ministers and business leaders is in Nigeria for talks with the Dangote Group aimed at strengthening trade and investment ties between the two countries.

The Tanzanian government delegation met with the President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, who gave them a brief history of the establishment of the Dangote Refinery and his organisation’s quest to put Africa on the global business map.

He expressed the firm resolve of the Dangote Group to put African countries first in all its trade and investment drives as part of measures to put the continent on a firm and secure economic footing for future generations.

He further said that the Dangote Group will be investing an additional forty-six billion dollars in African countries between now and the year 2030 as part of its “Vision 2030” expansion project.

The Tanzanian delegation’s visit comes as part of the country’s effort to bolster its economy with investments and partnerships with the Dangote Group and other business entities in Nigeria.
