INEC declares Kwara APC candidates, Olawuyi, Aluko winners of Reps seats

Tunji Olawuyi, a member, representing Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara (APC) has been reelected as a member representing Ekiti, Irepodun, Isin and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara State.

The returning officer for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Dr Nurudeen Bello made the declaration at the collation centre in OmuAran on Sunday.

Announcing the official result, Bello said out of the 59075 accredited Voters, the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled a total of 22, 140, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 19,092, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) scored a total of 9,331.

 

In a related development, the Independent National Electoral Commission has also declared the All Progressives Congress candidate,  Yinka Ahmed Aluko, winner of the Ilorin East/South federal constituency election.

 

Aluko had served as the Special Adviser, and Special Duties to the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
