The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 Tinubu campaign, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s policies have had a direct impact on Nigerians, describing them as unprecedented since the country’s independence.
Yari stated this during a visit to Kebbi State as part of efforts to solicit support for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
He said the current administration was committed to addressing the security challenges facing the country and restoring lasting peace, noting that insecurity began under the previous administration.

The former governor also said food prices had reduced under President Tinubu’s administration, a development he said would benefit Nigerians, particularly those at the grassroots.
Yari added that state governments now receive their monthly allocations directly, which he said would enhance development and improve residents’ welfare.
Earlier, Yari visited the palace of the Emir of Gwandu, where he was received by the Chairman of the Kebbi State Council of Chiefs, retired Major-General Iliyasu Bashar; the Emir of Argungu, Dr Samaila Muhammad Mera; the Emir of Yauri, Dr Zayyanu Muhammad Abdullahi; and the Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi Mika’ilu, also known as Sami Gomo III.
The visit was aimed at soliciting the traditional rulers’ support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
In his remarks, Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, expressed delight at the visit and assured Yari of the state’s support for the APC and President Tinubu’s re-election.
Governor Idris said the people of the state had begun to feel the impact of the current administration through projects designed to address their needs and improve their living conditions.
Yari’s entourage included former governors, ministers, senators and members of the House of Representatives.
