Labour Party Inaugurates Woman Leader in Ebonyi State

The Women Wing of Labour Party in Ebonyi State, Southeast Nigeria has Inaugurated it’s State Woman Leader Ojeh Nkemdirim to be in charge of all women Affairs in the State.

The Inauguration took place at Nkwegu Ugbala Grand Arena in Abakaliki the State Capital.

The Wives of all the Candidates contesting various political positions under Labour Party in the State led by Lady Mary Nkwegu, the wife of the Governorship Candidate Dr Edward Nkwegu, said it was necessary to enhance division of labor in all activities that would lead to the success of the election.

Mary Nkwegu said “this is our time to go into the villages to canvas for votes to enable Peter Obi to win Nigeria’s President, Edward Nkwegu to become the Governor of the State, Anselm Enigwe to become the next Senator of Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone, Lawrence Nwuruku for Ebonyi Central, Linus Okorie for Ebonyi South among other contestants under the platform of Labour Party. “

“I am sure that everyone in the State want positive change for turn arround  development. If Labour wins in all the positions, I assure you that no Nigerian will be poor again because poverty will be reduced minimally.
There will be no killing again and insecurity will be a thing of the past”

Voters Cards Collection

She called on Ebonyi people to ensure that they collect their Permanent voters cards to enable them vote for person of their choice.

Without your PVC, you cannot make a right choice. We are here to make the positive change happen,”she stated.

The Chairman, Coalition of Peter Obi support Group in Ebonyi State, Dr John Agha encouraged the women during the Inauguration to work hard to salvage the Country from the current state of uncertainty.

The Wives of the contestants led by Dr Onyinyechi Enigwe gave the women both moral and financial support during the event.

Appreciation

The Women Leader for Labour Party in the State, Mrs Ojeh Nkemdirim thanked the women for finding her worthy to be their leader.

Mrs Ojeh promised to do everything possible to ensure that Labour Party comes out victorious in the forthcoming general election.
