MAN, Anambra Government, Convene Industrial Energy Symposium

The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), South-East Chapter, in collaboration with the Anambra State Government, have convened a high-level symposium to explore sustainable energy solutions and investment opportunities.

The forum aimes to address persistent power challenges affecting manufacturers and businesses in the South-East.

The symposium, holding in Awka, Anambra State capital, today, Friday 31 July 2026, is tagged “MAN South-East Industrial Energy Solutions and Investment Symposium.”

It is expected to bring together; government officials, regulators, manufacturers, financiers, investors, technology providers, development partners and institutional leaders to examine strategies for achieving affordable, reliable and sustainable industrial power in the region.

Chairman of MAN, South-East Chapter,  Ada Chukwudozie, said the event focuses on innovative financing, technology and strategic partnerships to strengthen the region’s industrial base and unlock new investment opportunities.

“The high-level event, tagged ‘MAN South East Industrial Energy Solutions and Investment Symposium’, is expected to provide a strategic platform for stakeholders to deliberate on sustainable solutions to the persistent energy challenges confronting manufacturers and businesses across the South-East.

“With the theme, ‘Unlocking affordable industrial power through innovative financing, technology and strategic partnerships’, the symposium is designed to explore practical pathways towards achieving affordable, reliable and sustainable energy for industries, while promoting investment and strengthening the region’s industrial base.

“The symposium features plenary sessions, investment and financing opportunities, technology and innovation showcases, a CEO solutions forum, exhibition and business-to-business networking,” she said.

Chukwudozie also urged stakeholders, captains of industry, business owners, youth leaders, entrepreneurs, and proprietors of hotels and schools to participate actively in the symposium.

She described it as an opportunity for manufacturers and investors to engage directly with financial institutions, technology providers, regulators and government officials on practical solutions capable of unlocking the South-East’s industrial potential.
