Music Veteran King Sunny Ade’s wife is dead

Music Legend, King Sunny Ade has lost his wife, Hon. Risikat Ajoke Adegeye.

The cause of death is undisclosed but according to reports, she died on Tuesday, September 21,2021- a day to King Sunny Ade’s 74th birthday.

Until her death, she was a former member of the Lagos state House of assembly.
She was also a former chairmanship Aspirant under the platform of “All progressive Congress(APC)”, in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area.

She is survived by her spouse, musical Legend “King Sunny Ade” and six children.

Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye MFR, known professionally as King Sunny Adé, is a Nigerian jùjú singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

The Grammy winner is also regarded as one of the first African pop musicians to gain international success, and has been called one of the most influential musicians of all time.
