New Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police assumes duty

The new Nasarawa State  Commissioner of Police Mr. Adesina Musbau has been charged to work judiciously as he assumed office in the State.

Former Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police and Assistant Inspector General of police Mr. Bola Longe stated this during the handover ceremony at the Command Headquarters in Lafia the State capital.

AIG Longe describes the new CP as a thoroughbred police officer with immense professional and managerial experience.

However, the New CP Mr. Adeshina Musbau urged his colleagues to shun  corruption, assuring his predecessor of his commitment to add and develop from his good work.

CP Musbau said he would initiate a robust architecture that would fight against crimes and promise to work hard to sustain the peace and tranquility been enjoyed in the State.

The new Commissioner of Police took over from Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Bola Longe who has been redeployed to the Force headquarters, Abuja following his promotion.

As part of his last assignment in Nasarawa State, the outgoing Commissioner of Police, AIG Bola Longe paraded 55 suspects for their alleged involvement in crimes such as cultism, internet fraud, car theft, and sales of illicit drugs among others.

AIG Bola Longe pointed out that the suspects who were arrested in various locations across the state would be charged to court after exhaustive investigations.
