“The bilateral consultations are expected to review the current state of relations between both countries and assess progress in implementing existing agreements.”

The ministry informed that discussions will also focus on expanding economic and commercial ties, attracting greater German investment into Nigeria’s priority sectors, advancing renewable energy and green industrialisation, promoting vocational education and skills development, and strengthening cooperation in science, technology and innovation.

“The visit reflects the enduring partnership between Nigeria and Germany, which spans several decades and is anchored on mutual respect, shared democratic values, economic cooperation, and a common commitment to promoting regional and global peace, security, stability and sustainable development.”
