Nigeria is set to host the Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX WKND) for the first time at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Cultural and Creative Arts in Lagos from 5 to 8 November 2026.
Organised by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), the multi-day event is designed to celebrate, connect and promote Africa’s creative and cultural industries.
The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism & The Creative Economy made this known via its official X handle @Fmactce_Nigeria

The event, themed “One People, United in Culture, Creating for the World,” will feature activities across fashion, film, music, food, literature, sports and visual arts.
