Nigerian Leader Orders Security Crackdown in Kaduna

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force and relevant intelligence agencies to intensify operations in the affected communities of Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State to swiftly apprehend the perpetrators of the deadly attack on Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward and restore normalcy to the area.

Reinforcing his administration’s commitment to strengthening security across the country President Tinubu issued the directive while strongly condemning what he described as a barbaric and cowardly attack on innocent citizens in Naridon Village.

Describing the assault as an unprovoked act of terror against defenceless people, the President emphasised that those seeking to undermine the hard-earned peace and security enjoyed in Kaduna State in recent times would not escape justice.

He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, Governor Uba Sani, the Kaduna State Government and the people of the state over the tragic incident.

President Tinubu also assured the state government and the affected communities of the Federal Government’s unwavering support, restating his administration resolute in tackling security challenges across the country.

The President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening security infrastructure, equipping security personnel and dismantling criminal networks threatening the nation’s peace and stability.

He also urged residents of affected communities to cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and actionable intelligence to support early response efforts and improve security operations.
