Nigeria’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, Ambassador AbdulRahman Bello Dambazzau, has commenced diplomatic consultations following his assumption of office with a series of courtesy visits to fellow African envoys in Beijing.
As part of efforts to strengthen diplomatic engagement and foster regional cooperation, Ambassador Dambazzau paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador of Liberia to China, McKinley Thomas, who also serves as the Dean of West African Ambassadors in China.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest and ways to enhance collaboration among West African diplomatic missions in China.

The Nigerian envoy also paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador of Seychelles to China, Mrs Anne Lafortune. During the meeting, both diplomats exchanged views on matters of common interest, reaffirming their commitment to promoting stronger bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The consultations form part of Ambassador Dambazzau’s engagements with the diplomatic community in China as he begins his tenure, to strengthen and advance relations with African partners and advance the country’s foreign policy objectives.
