The Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his condolences to a former Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun on the death of her husband, Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun.
Mr Adeosun passed away on Wednesday at the age of 62.
In a condolence message issued on Thursday by the Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, the President sympathised with the Adeosun’s family, friends and business associates, urging them “to take solace in the late Adeosun’s legacy of steadfast faith, community service and charity.”
President Tinubu acknowledged the outpouring of tributes celebrating the life and good works of the deceased, particularly his commitment to supporting the less privileged.
The President prayed that Almighty God would grant Mrs. Adeosun and the entire family the strength and comfort to bear the loss, while granting the deceased eternal rest.
