The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has intensified efforts to safeguard the nation’s electricity transmission facilities through stronger collaboration with the Office of the National Security Adviser, ONSA and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.
TCN”s General Manager Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, who disclosed this in a statement said the strategic meeting held at TCN’s corporate headquarters had representatives of the three institutions.

According to her the meeting focused on enhancing inter-agency cooperation, improving intelligence and information sharing, and developing more effective strategies to tackle attacks on transmission facilities across the country.

She added that the engagement reflects the collective commitment of stakeholders to protect critical national assets and ensure a more stable and reliable electricity supply for Nigerians.
