The US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio has said that the United States and Greece are strengthening counter-terrorism cooperation through new information-sharing arrangements between their law enforcement agencies.
Rubio stated this in Athens, saying the two countries remained strong allies committed to tackling emerging security threats.

He explained that the new arrangements would enhance information sharing between the law enforcement agencies of both countries.
Rubio also identified Greece as an ally in tackling irregular migration and criminal organisations, while stressing the importance of diversifying energy supply routes.
