2023: Accord Presidential Candidate tasks youth on political participation

The Accord Party Presidential Candidate  Professor Christopher Imumolen says Nigerian youths should rise to their expectations and elect credible and competent youths that will govern the affairs of the country.

 

Professor Imumolen  made the statement in Abuja Nigeria’s Capital during a press conference. He called on Nigerians to believe in themselves and not to lose hope in political participation in the country.

 

Professor Imumolen said the Nigerian youth have excelled in various works of life, especially in the area of politics and governance, sports and the entertainment industry.

 

The 39-year-old is an educationist, and a business mogul called on the youths to take leadership affairs of the country with diligence.

 

He noted that youths at the age of twenty-nine years have been ministers, former Nigerian Head of State General Olusegun Obasanjo was a military Head of State at the age of thirty-two.

 

He reiterated that “we are here to represent the Nigerian youth, and as a candidate representing the youth in the race, we can do it and make it happen.”

 

“If youth can become leaders in Grenada, if youth can become Prime Minister in the U.K, in France, other countries then why can’t it happen here,?”

He urged that “if we can support Nigerians in every facet of Nigeria then what is it that is too big for us to become president and run this nation.”

 

The Accord Presidential Candidate charged that the “Nigerian youths must believe in themselves and conduct themselves together, run and better the country.

 

He further challenged the Youths to hold the government accountable “to ensure that we put the government on their toes to declare emergency on the economy, and we should solve the fuel scarcity problem and the money problem in coming weeks so that we have a fair and credible election in Nigeria and select the right leaders to lead us to the next generation.”
