Nigeria and Gambia Sign MoU to Promote Digital Economy

The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Pantami has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Gambia.

 

The MoU signed today at the Communications and Digital Economy Complex, Abuja, Nigeria aims to encourage, promote and facilitate cooperation and collaboration between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Gambia in the areas of Broadband Development, Spectrum Management, Research, and Development; Capacity Building, Internet Safety, Cyber security, Internet Governance, Infrastructure, Legal Frameworks, and Government Digital Services in accordance with the relevant laws of each country.

 

The Gambian government was represented by its Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Mr Ousman Bah.
