VP Osinbajo expresses shock on death of Afenifere’s Spokesman

Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has expressed shock on the death of Yinka Odumakin, the spokesman of the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere.

A statement from the Office of the Vice President reads: “VP Osinbajo is shocked at the sad news of the death of Mr Yinka Odumakin and commiserates with his wife, family and associates.  

“He prays that the Lord will comfort the family, and bless his memory always.”

Odumakin died on Saturday morning at the intensive care unit of LASUTH where he was being managed for respiratory issues due to complications from Covid-19.
