Forward Vinicius Junior scored twice as Brazil reached the second round of the FIFA World Cup as Group C winners, after a 3-0 victory over Scotland.
The electric Real Madrid forward opened the scoring courtesy of a Scottish mix-up in the seventh minute after a brilliant piece of play.

Brazil continued to push forward as they looked to extend its lead and were rewarded.
The Real Madrid star added his second with a header in first-half stoppage to take away any glimmer of hope for the Scots.

In the 60th minute, Manchester United forward Matheus Cunha scored Brazil’s third to seal the comfortable win.
The victory, which also featured the return after a long absence of Neymar combined with Morocco’s 4-2 win over Haiti, put Brazil on the road to Houston.

Brazil will meet the Netherlands, Japan or Sweden in the next round.
Scotland, who disappointed with an error-prone display in the first half, will now hope to advance as one of the eight third-placed teams with the best records over the 12 groups.
