The Foundation commiserated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian Air Force, the Armed Forces of Nigeria and families of the deceased.

It commended President Tinubu for declaring a three-day national mourning, directing flags to fly at half-mast, and ordering a thorough investigation into the cause of the crash.

It also lauded the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, for his prompt coordination of search and rescue operations and professional handling of the incident.

In his message as Grand Patron, Lt. Gen. Buratai assured families of the victims that the sacrifices of their loved ones would not be forgotten and expressed solidarity with personnel of the Armed Forces.
