The Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) and 20 other federal agencies have adopted the Federal Government’s Revenue Optimisation and Assurance Platform (RevOP) and Federal Treasury e-Receipt (FTe-R) to strengthen transparency, accountability and efficiency in public financial management.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NEPZA, Olufemi Ogunyemi, disclosed this in a statement following a meeting in Abuja between the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, represented by the Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, Taiwo Oyedele, and the chief executives of 21 affected agencies.
The Revenue Optimisation and Assurance Platform was approved by the Federal Executive Council to eliminate financial leakages, curb fraud and advance the financial transparency agenda of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking through the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Muhammed Sanusi, Oyedele said the platform was designed to provide comprehensive monitoring of government revenue and expenditure.

Oyedele disclosed that 31 Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) had already been integrated into the system, while another 21 agencies would join in the next phase.
“A total of 31 MDAs had already gone live on the platform. Twenty-one more agencies are to be captured next, as the government is working assiduously to achieve 100 per cent financial probity before the end of the year,” he stated.
Oyedele therefore, urged the agencies to embrace the initiative to strengthen financial due process across government institutions.
“We therefore wish to encourage each of you to, without delay, key into this lofty government initiative to boost financial due process on all fronts,” he stressed.
Ogunyemi said NEPZA was well positioned for seamless integration into the platform due to its existing digital financial management systems.
“We are encouraged and feel responsible to follow the RevOP. It is especially motivating to observe the president taking clear leadership and responsibility for this vital financial monitoring system, which will help push the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda forward,” he stated.
The NEPZA boss expressed confidence that the platform would improve transparency in revenue collection and expenditure management while supporting broader fiscal reforms aimed at enhancing accountability and public trust.
The adoption of RevOP and FTe-R forms part of the Federal Government’s efforts to modernise public finance administration and strengthen oversight of revenue-generating agencies.
