Nigerian heritage was on full display in Plymouth, United Kingdom, as the second edition of the Nigeria Cultural Festival honoured singer Jesse King, popularly known as Buga, Nollywood star Muyiwa Ademola, and several other notable Nigerian entertainers.
The event took place recently at Foulston Park, Madden Road, Devonport, Plymouth. It drew members of the Nigerian diaspora, culture lovers and the wider local community for a vibrant celebration of Nigeria’s history, creativity and identity.
The festival was put together by Toskel Community Heritage & Culture CIC, in partnership with Toskel Travels Limited. Its aim was to present the depth and diversity of Nigerian culture to an international audience while also strengthening ties among Nigerians living abroad.

Centred on heritage, community and the next generation, the programme included cultural exhibitions, live music, traditional dance performances, Nigerian food, and a range of cultural displays. Activities were also organised to encourage attendees to reconnect with their roots and celebrate them proudly.
