President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda Is Working-Minister

The Presidential Communications Team has met President Bola Tinubu to give him a feedback on the impact the Renewed Hope Agenda has made on the lives of Nigerians.

The team led by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, also comprised the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga and all other media aides of the President.

At the end of the closed door session, Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris told Journalist that the Renewed Hope Agenda is achieving its aim of making life better for Nigerians.

“As you know, the President has stated severally that the economy is turning the corner and we are tackling the issue of insecurity very well. We know that the challenges remain but government will continue to work to make sure that Nigerians go about their daily affairs and sleep well in their homes.

“All the terrorists, bandits and criminal elements that have stopped Nigerians from sleeping well, the government is strategizing, working with the security agencies. You can see the better coordination now between all the security agencies and the intelligence agencies.

They are working together in consonance and this is the new thing that is happening; the coordination that the President has brought under his leadership so that Nigeria will tackle this issue once and for all,” he said.

The Minister also x-rayed how the economy is faring under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“The economy of course is one big issue that Nigerians are talking about and we have heard from the President and we now know that the economy has turned the corner and its left for us now to consolidate on those gains and ensure that the economy of this country is put on the right pedestal so that the trajectory growth that we are already seeing can be further enhanced for the benefit of all Nigerians,” Idris added.

The Chief Executive officers of all government agencies under the Ministry of Information also attended the meeting, including the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of Voice of Nigeria, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace.
