The Senator representing Kebbi Central Senatorial District, Muhammad Adamu Aliero, has presented his scorecard, highlighting key achievements recorded over his 11 years in the Senate.
Senator Aliero said the interventions carried out under his representation have had positive impact on the lives of constituents across the district.
Represented at the briefing by his media aide, Abubakar Kalgo, the Senator said “the key areas of intervention include; agriculture, healthcare, education, road infrastructure, water and electricity supply, as well as youth and women empowerment programmes, skills acquisition, and community development projects.”
He said; “beneficiaries of the projects are drawn from Aliero, Birnin Kebbi, Bunza, Gwandu, Jega, Kalgo, Koko/Besse and Maiyama Local Government Areas.”
Senator Aliero stated that the initiatives aimed at improving economic opportunities, social welfare and access to basic infrastructure across the district
He further stated that the projects include the construction of classrooms, medical outreach programmes, the supply of drugs to hospitals, renovation and construction of hospital wards, construction of township and inter-city roads, sinking of boreholes, rehabilitation of water supply facilities, and the provision of 500 KVA electricity transformers.
Other interventions include; the distribution of skills acquisition materials, cash grants worth millions of naira, renovation of Jumu’ah mosques, and the distribution of rice, maize and other grains as Ramadan palliatives.
Senator Aliero explained that farmers were supported with the distribution of fertilisers, tractors, water pumping machines, ploughs and bulls to boost agricultural productivity.
He also felicitated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris on the occasion of Democracy Day.
