Kwara Pilgrims Pray for Nigeria’s Peace in Saudi Arabia

Pilgrims from Kwara State have offered special prayers for divine protection, enduring peace, and sustainable development in the state and the country at large.

The prayers were held in Mecca during the pilgrimage exercise on Sunday.

The pilgrims also prayed for Allah’s guidance, wisdom, and a successful tenure for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The worshippers thanked God for His mercy and the government for its responsiveness to their needs.

The prayer was led by the Ajanasi Agba of Ilorin Emirate, Dr. Mujitaba Bature Yusuf, and assisted by other Islamic scholars.

Top attendees included the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Amina Ahmed El-Imaam, Commissioner for Transportation, Aliu Kora Sabi, Etsu Tsaragi and Ameerul-Hajj, Alhaji Aliyu Abdullahi Kpotwa Goshi II, and Onipe of Ipee land, Oba Lawal Mufutau Adebayo, Titiloye III.

Others present at the prayer session were the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation, Alhaji Salau Abdullahi, and officials of the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board led by the Chairman, Prof Mashood Mahmud Jimba.
