The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has called on his fellow contestants to unite for collective action ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.
This follows his victory at the just-concluded APC governorship primary in the state.

He described his emergence as a collective mandate driven by a shared vision for inclusive development, stressing the need for unity within the party to secure victory in the general election.

Wadada emphasised that the victory belongs to the entire state rather than any single individual, urging all former aspirants and their supporters to bury their difference and unite behind the party’s broader goals.
“This victory is not mine alone; it belongs to every party faithful and every citizen who desires a more prosperous, united, and progressive Nasarawa State, I extend a hand of fellowship to all aspirants and their supporters as we move forward together in the spirit of unity, reconciliation, and collective purpose,” Wadada stated.
He paid special tribute to the incumbent Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, praising his leadership style and ensuring a level playing field during the internal election.
Senator Wadada further reaffirmed his commitment to purposeful, people-oriented governance, emphasising that building a sustainable and prosperous Nasarawa State requires all hands on deck.
“The task ahead is greater than any individual, and I remain committed to working with all stakeholders to advance the development of our state and improve the lives of our people,” Wadada added.
