Ariana Grande became emotional as she took the stage for the final night of her “Eternal Sunshine Tour”.
The singer, 33, wrapped up the 41-show tour at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday, bringing a 10-night run in the city to a close after performances across the US and Montreal.
The singer delivered a deeply emotional show, coming close to tears, especially during the poignant song “One Last Time,” which has become an anthem for survivors of the 2017 Manchester terror attack. Throughout the concert, she engaged closely with the audience, even kneeling to connect more personally.
“London I’m going to need you to help me on this one,” she said, kneeling down to be near the audience throughout the performance.
Last month, the artist announced a break from public appearances after months of intense speculation about her health and appearance. This pause includes withdrawing from the upcoming production of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George at London’s Barbican, where she was set to star alongside her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey, who also recently pulled out.
Despite a foot injury forcing her to trade her usual stilettos for knee-high platform boots, she showed no signs of weakness, moving energetically across the stage with her dancers. However, her voice wavered briefly during the song “Nowhere, Nobody,” particularly on the line, she quickly regained her composure and maintained a captivating presence throughout.
She expressed heartfelt gratitude to her fans, calling the experience one of the most extraordinary of her life. “I will cherish this experience always,” she said, praising her fans as the best in the world and thanking them for making the event so special. Her sincere appreciation and professionalism left a lasting impression on everyone present.
